This program presents a comprehensive definition of trust that enables participants to understand more fully that trust is not an all or nothing proposition, but rather, situational in nature. It is not simply a matter of whether or not you trust someone, but rather, if not, what specifically is the underlying nature of the distrust.

TeamTRUST progresses through the following building blocks of full trust:
  • Integrity refers to the fundamental honesty or trustworthiness of an individual
  • Intent refers to a person’s motivation or agenda.
  • Capabilities refers to someone’s ability to do what they intend
  • Results refer to a person’s track record.

Each of these four building blocks of trust needs to be present to establish a fully productive relationship.
