Melissa Dakoff is an Executive Consultant & Executive Coach
with LeadFirst. She has expertise in organizational design and development, human capital management, process and strategy alignment, culture identification/ integration and performance management to help clients systematically improve their customer and employee experience to promote growth and profit. Her management consulting expertise is with all size organizations from start-up to fortune 100 in the areas of financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, government agencies, defense contractors and retail industries. She has worked in Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East. She has lead large scale programs and managed large teams.
Prior experience includes working for Ipsos / Market Facts, Cap Gemini, The REL Consultancy Group, The Gallup Organization and Slalom Consulting. Dakoff’s early career began as a project manager at a capital management consultancy, where she worked with clients to reduce costs and improve cash flow by implementing organizational process improvements and procurement initiatives, including strategic sourcing and supply chain management strategies. She also served as a senior research analyst at a market research consultancy. In this role, she conducted market analysis and segmentation research, analyzed customer loyalty, and developed and implemented customer satisfaction research. Dakoff incorporates and utilizes her past experiences to diagnose and treat her clients holistically and organically to promote the change and improvements they aspire to achieve.
Dakoff received her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and business management from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. A native English speaker, she is also fluent in Spanish. She has provided material published in the Gallup Management Journal and is a six sigma black belt.
