Module One: Perspective On Leadership

This 2 or 2½-day leadership and team-building process is designed for experienced managers and executives, and focuses on leadership skills; problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, communication, performance feedback, risk-taking and planning. Participants learn how their personality influences their leadership style. They also learn their primary and back-up leadership styles from a spectrum of styles and how to recognize and build effective working relationships with others. This leader development process will strengthen cooperation and trust between individuals and departments, improve employee and team performance, and help individuals and teams achieve results more efficiently..

In preparation for Perspective On Leadership, participants will complete two, pre-program assessments, the INSIGHT Personality Profile and the 360-degree Leadership Styles Inventory.

Program Follow-Up Coaching

Follow up coaching is provided to participants in support of the Perspective On Leadership process. Our personal leadership coach will contact participants to schedule private coaching sessions approximately two-to-four weeks post-program. This provides an opportunity to explore together ways to apply the leadership skills learned, and to utilize appropriate leadership when making decisions, solving problems, giving feedback, handling conflict and taking risks.

Participants may also discuss challenges to the implementation of their goals as well as successes experienced back in the workplace.
