The Organizational Culture MRI is a
widely used and thoroughly researched tool for measuring
organizational culture in organizations worldwide. It provides an assessment of an
organization's operating culture in terms of the behaviors that members
believe are "required to survive and thrive" within their
organization.
The MRI measures several organizational characteristics or traits that define the operating culture of an organization. One of these characteristics correlate highly with high quality problem solving and decision making, teamwork, productivity, and long-term effectiveness. The other organizational characteristics detract from effective performance. Thus, the MRI enables management to analyze their organizational culture and identify practical strategies for enhancing productivity, long-term effectiveness and value creation.
