Handleman Company Handleman Company is one of the world's largest category managers and distributors of prerecorded music and other entertainment products to leading retailers in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Their talented people manage a broad assortment to optimize sales in more than 4,000 retail stores. Over the years, Handleman and it's various divisions have successfully transformed itself into one of the leading supply chain distributors and category managers for it's customers like Wal-Mart, Kmart, Best Buy, and Circuit City. Handleman continues to grow through diversification and strategic transactions as the entertainment product supply chain and its customer needs change.

LeadFirst first began providing leadership development training to Handleman Company in August, 2001. Over the last five years, LeadFirst has conducted nine sessions of Perspective On Leadership and seven follow-up sessions of Leading In a Changing Environment. In that time 160 Handleman executives have experienced the LeadFirst's leader development process.
