Leadership Facilitator

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to client companies (domestic and international) to deliver LeadFirst leadership programs to mid-level and senior managers and executives
  • Provide 360° feedback to groups and individuals
  • Establish trust, credibility and respect with LeadFirst client companies; maintain effective ongoing relationships
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant trends/research within field of leadership, management and client company industries

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field; advanced degrees preferred

Experience:
  • Highly skilled professional with 8-10+ years of corporate business knowledge/experience and understanding of organizational/workplace issues
  • Facilitation of learning for groups and individuals at all organizational levels and within varied industries
  • Leadership experience in organizations or demonstrated ability to achieve results through others preferred

Requirements:
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Executive presence (energy, charisma, calm, caring, vulnerability, credibility) that gains respect
  • Ability to successfully deliver as a lead or co-facilitator
  • A broad understanding of leadership and leadership development
  • Consultative approach to organizational performance improvement
  • Insight, optimism and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information
  • Experience with 360° feedback and other assessment tools
  • Thorough knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with individuals and teams
  • Strong desire to exceed client expectations
  • Personal values consistent with the LeadFirst culture
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel nationally and internationally
A formal skills presentation is required of all final candidates. A video of a recent presentation submitted with resume is preferred.

Executive Coach

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Program Follow-up Coaching - Provide coaching to LeadFirst program participants to ensure achievement of performance improvement goals set at end of session; draws from 360° report and additional assessment tools.
  • Executive Coaching - Provide one-on-one coaching to executives in areas identified as vital to their effectiveness in achieving bottom-line results and to ensure leaders are aligned with the organization's vision, values and culture.
  • Group Coaching - Provide customized coaching programs in group setting for individuals who share a common interest in focusing on improvement areas affecting workplace performance.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field; advanced degrees preferred
  • Professional coaching certification preferred

Experience:
  • Highly skilled professional with significant corporate business knowledge/experience and understanding of organizational/workplace issues
  • Leadership experience in organizations or demonstrated ability to achieve results through others preferred

  • Ability to profile strengths and development areas in a wide range of behavior competencies through the use of 360° feedback and other assessment tools, techniques and processes
  • Ability to translate behavioral feedback into client defined strategies and action plans
  • Understanding of how personal behavioral capacities contribute to organizational performance
  • Establishment of accountability partnerships that hold client responsible for action resulting in client's learning and development

Executive coaching skills required:
  • Thorough understanding of the world of the executive leader
  • A broad understanding of leadership and leadership development
  • Knowledge of systems dynamics
